What's new

July 2026

  • Posts

Journals are the record; posts are the conversation. Share a win, ask a question, or get help with a struggling plant: tag strains and topics, attach photos, and mark the answer that solved it. Start one from the Create post button.

  • AI leaf diagnosis

Writing a Diagnose post? Premium growers get an instant AI read of their leaf photo: likely causes and what to check, before the community even weighs in.

  • Giveaways & Power Hour

Win real gear from sponsors on the new giveaways page, and catch a Power Hour drop, where the winner is drawn and revealed on the spot. Sharing your entry link boosts your odds.

  • Follow strains

Eyeing some genetics for your next run? Follow a strain from its page and your inbox will surface new community journals of it as they start.

  • A feed you can tune

The feed now has a Following tab, journal/post filters, topic and type filters, and three sorts (Recent, Top, and Active) so you can find exactly the corner of the community you're after.

  • More badges, with tiers

The badge shelf grew: earn recognition for harvests, journaling, helping other growers, sharing photos, and more. Many badges now climb Bronze → Silver → Gold tiers. Track your progress on the badges page.

  • Grow & Tell in your pocket

A top-to-bottom mobile pass: the feed, journals, posts, and profiles all got proper phone layouts, so everything on the site is now reachable (and pleasant) from the tent.

  • For breeders

Breeder pages got a real home: your catalog, community activity on your genetics, and a promote toolkit with embeddable badges for your own site. Learn more.

  • Polish & fixes

A fresh logo, phone photos no longer upload sideways, props totals on profiles (with tidy counts like 21.2k), badge popovers that stay visible, share links on posts and profiles, a notification gear to choose what you're updated about, and faster browsing when signed out.

June 2026

  • Guided tours

Take a narrated walk through cannabis history right on the explorer. Tours like The OG Kush Dynasty and Skunk #1 Changed Everything step from strain to strain, tracing how today's famous hybrids came to be.

  • Connected grow

Premium growers can auto-log their tent's temperature, humidity, and VPD straight into journals: link your AC Infinity account or pipe in any Home Assistant sensor. See how it works.

  • Real grow data on strain pages

Strain pages now surface real community journals and their actual stats (photos, likes, and harvest results) so you can see how a strain really performs in the tent.

  • A fresh look

A warm new green-and-gold palette across the whole site, redesigned journals, and a clearer lineage graph: maternal and paternal lines are now color-coded, with a tidier collapsible legend.

  • Polish & performance

Plus a stack of smaller fixes: a lighter, smoother experience on mobile with fewer crashes, steadier breadcrumb navigation, and consistency passes across the interface.

May 2026

  • Discovery feed

A new feed of fresh journals from the community. Like a journal or follow a grower right from the feed.

  • Grow reminders

We'll nudge you when one of your active journals is due for a new entry, or when it looks ready to harvest, based on the strain's typical timeline.

  • Harvest wrap-up

When you mark a journal harvested, you get a celebration page to pick a cover photo, write a recap, and line up what to grow next, with seed links and a one-tap way to start the next journal.

  • Badges

Earn recognition for taking part: Early Adopter (one of the first 100 members) and Historian (5+ approved strain corrections). Pick which badge shows next to your handle in Settings.

  • Cover photos

Choose the headline image for your journal so your best shot represents it everywhere.

  • Strain sources

Strain pages can now link to references, so you can see where the information comes from.

  • Report content

A Report button on journals, entries, and comments lets the community flag problems for review.
