Grow And Tell is the interactive cannabis lineage explorer. We map strain genetics as a connected graph so growers, breeders, and curious people can trace any cultivar back to its landrace roots and forward to its descendants. If you breed, your work belongs in that picture — credited, controlled, and discoverable.
What you get

Your strains appear in the public lineage graph credited to you. Your byline is clickable — anyone can filter the whole explorer to just your catalog with one tap.
- Connect with growers
Growers post weekly journals of your strains, with photos and grow setup. You can see who's running your genetics, follow them, and get notified when they post.
- Control your strain data
You publish the lineage notes, the terpene + effect profile (from a curated list to keep data clean across sites), the F-generation, and the seed-purchase URL. We don't rewrite your links.
- Real customer signal
Your breeder analytics show all-time + 30-day outbound clicks, your top-converting strains, daily trends, and which surfaces drive your seed sales — journal pages, strain panels, or the explorer.
- Affiliate revenue, your link
Every strain you publish can have its own seed-purchase URL. Drop your affiliate link there and get credit when growers click through. We track the clicks so you can see what's working.
- Featured slots + future sponsored placements
Admin picks a 'Breeder of the Week' that gets a curated tour through your strains in the menu. Sponsored placements (pay to feature) are wired up for when you want broader reach.
How verification works
We review every breeder application by hand. The goal isn't to gatekeep — it's to keep strain credits honest so growers can trust the lineage data.
- You apply with your breeder/company name, contact email, website, and a short bio. Takes 2 minutes.
- We review.We typically respond within a few days. We'll look at your website, your existing strain catalog, and whether your name already appears in the public lineage graph as a credited breeder.
- Once approved, you can claim existing strains that already credit you (their byline is plain text today; an FK overrides when you claim) and publish new strains directly into the explorer.

What we ask of you
- Accurate lineage — if you don't know a parent, leave it blank (landrace / unknown is a valid choice).
- Honest credit — list strains you actually bred or stabilized. The verification process is partly about catching credit grabs.
- Use the curated terpenes & effects lists. They're short on purpose; if something genuine is missing, message us and we'll add it.
- Be a decent member of the community. Growers will comment on journals of your strains — engage in good faith.
