Grow And Tell is an information and community platform about cannabis genetics. We provide tools to explore strain lineages, log personal grow journals, and share information among growers and breeders. Use of the site is at your own discretion and risk.

You must be at least 21 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) to use this site. By creating an account or interacting with content, you confirm you meet that age requirement and that your use of the site is legal where you live.

You're responsible for the security of your account credentials and for anything posted from your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings; we'll cascade-delete your journals, comments, follows, and favorites. Strain corrections you submitted are kept (admin record) but stripped of your identity.

When you sign up, you choose a public handle (lowercase letters, numbers, dashes, underscores; 3-30 characters; must be unique). Your handle is your public identifier throughout the site — it appears on comments, journal bylines, and your profile URL. Your email address is never displayed publicly. You can change your handle in your account settings if your desired handle is still available. Impersonation of another person, brand, or organization through your handle is grounds for suspension.

Breeder accounts go through manual review. Approval doesn't imply endorsement; it confirms we believe the applicant is who they claim to be. We reserve the right to suspend or revoke breeder status for misrepresentation.

You retain ownership of your journal entries, photos, comments, and any photos attached to comments. By posting, you grant Grow And Tell a non-exclusive worldwide license to display that content on the site and in related promotional materials (e.g., social sharing previews).

Comments support replies (one level of threading), photo attachments, "Helpful" reactions, journal-owner pinning (the journal author can pin one comment to the top of their thread), breeder endorsements (the verified breeder of a journal's strain can endorse a comment), and @-mentions of other handles. Mentioned users receive an in-app notification. You can edit or delete your own comments; the journal owner or an admin can also delete comments on their journal.

Photo uploads (on journals and comments) are re-encoded server-side and stripped of EXIF metadata, including any embedded GPS coordinates, before storage. We never store the original file.

Don't post content that infringes copyright, doxes other users, harasses, advertises sale of regulated products outside compliant channels, impersonates real people or organizations, or violates applicable law. You can flag content for review using the in-app report option (on journals, entries, and comments) or by emailing us; we review reports and may hide or remove content that violates these terms.

Grow And Tell maintains a catalog of cannabis strain information — names, lineage, parentage, and related public facts — as a reference resource for growers, similar to other public reference platforms. Strains may be listed without their original breeder being a registered participant on the site, and that listing reflects publicly available genetic information rather than an endorsement or commercial relationship.

A breeder who does not wish to participate commercially can request that commercial-driving features for their strains (purchase links, redirects through our tracking) be removed. Factual strain and lineage information is preserved regardless of participation status, as it has reference value for the broader grower community.

Premium subscriptions for growers are billed monthly or annually via our payment processor (Stripe). Cancel anytime from your account; access continues through the end of the current billing period. We don't offer prorated refunds on subscriptions, but if something's broken on our end, contact us.

Some breeder and strain placements on the site are paid sponsorships. These are always marked with a visible “Sponsored” badge alongside the advertiser's name. Editorial “Featured” picks are unpaid admin selections.

Links to breeders or seed sellers (“buy seeds” and similar) route through a redirect that records the click. Some of these are affiliate links through which Grow And Tell may earn a commission on a resulting sale. This never changes the price you pay, and we don't let commission potential dictate the factual lineage or strain information we show.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or post illegal content. You can terminate your account at any time via your profile.

Information on the site is provided as-is. Lineage data, grow advice, and user-contributed journals are informational only; we make no guarantees of accuracy. Don't use the site as a substitute for professional or legal advice.

We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
