Bred by Ken Estes of Grand Daddy Purp Genetics in the Northern California medical scene of the early 2010s, Pink Champagne crosses Granddaddy Purple with Cherry Pie. It also travels under the names Phantom, Ken's Phantom, and Wow Kush. The grape and berry of its Purple parent meet a perfume-like note of rose and plum, and the finish leans sedating and heavy-eyed. It placed in the hybrid category at the 2014 Karma Cup.
