Malawi, widely known as Malawi Gold, is a pure African landrace sativa that has grown in the highlands of Malawi for generations. As a landrace it has no bred cross, only a long history of natural, region-shaped selection. The aroma is floral and herbal over dry earth, and the high runs clear, energetic, and focused rather than heavy. It is one of the classic equatorial sativas prized for its long, resinous flowers and daytime lift.
